Audrey Ellermann
President
Audrey Ellermann brings a lifelong passion for service and community care to her role as President of the Covenant Blu Grand Center Neighborhood Association. With over 32 years of experience in healthcare, Audrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and spent the majority of her career in home health—an area that ignited her journey from individual care to community advocacy.
Through her work as a home health nurse, Audrey gained a deep, firsthand understanding of the disparities and lack of essential services in African American communities. These experiences fueled her commitment to equity, access, and meaningful neighborhood engagement.
Audrey’s dedication to community is, as she puts it, "part of my DNA." Inspired by generations of strong women in her family—her mother, aunts, and other female leaders—Audrey grew up surrounded by a spirit of giving back, deeply rooted in her Catholic faith.
Since retiring in 2017, Audrey has continued to lead with compassion and purpose. She remains actively involved in both civic and parish life, working to build a more connected, supportive, and thriving neighborhood. Her leadership in the Covenant Blu Grand Center community is a natural extension of a lifetime devoted to care, justice, and service.
